Since 1976, the Mitchell name has represented craftsmanship, precision, and timeless quality in the billiard industry. Founded by Ed Mitchell, Mitchell Custom Tables became known for creating distinctive billiard tables built with exceptional attention to detail and uncompromising workmanship.

Continuing the Legacy

That legacy was proudly carried forward by Ed’s son, Joe Mitchell, whose passion for the game and dedication to excellence helped earn the trust of customers for generations.

 

In 2022, due to health challenges, the business was forced to close its doors. But the legacy and vision behind the Mitchell name never faded.

A New Chapter

In 2025, Joe Mitchell partnered with longtime industry colleague Fred Craig to begin a new chapter with Revolutionary Billiards. For more than two decades, Fred worked alongside Mitchell Custom Tables as a trusted contract manufacturer, specializing in premium stainless steel fabrication and custom craftsmanship.

 

Together, Joe and Fred combine nearly 50 years of tradition, experience, and innovation to create billiard tables that reflect both luxury and enduring quality.
